Samantha Mohr's birthday falls on the 13th of September in 1961. Her birthplace was Columbus Georgia. Virgo symbolizes the Zodiac Sign of her. Mohr has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and an audiology minor from her school, the University of Georgia. Mohr also attended her time at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Mohr received her Bachelor of Arts in broadcast meteorology from the Georgia University in 1989. On the recommendation of another UGA student, Mohr started working in the glamorous field at 24. She took part for Miss Columbus in Miss Columbus, 1985. The final result was that she took it by kissing and beating each competitor. In June 1985, Miss Georgia was to be named after her. The 22nd of June, 1985 she also won the contest. Mohr was crowned winner of the event, was able to compete for Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. Even though she took home the title but she was not able to get into the top 10 of national contestants.
