Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. She was born into a family of middle class living in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities and was particularly interested in acting. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates, and she participated in school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was her preferred career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program was a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. After completing the task, she began working as a production assistant for TV documentaries. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable, but she still wanted to pursue a career as an actor. She launched her acting career by playing a supporting role in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch. Since then, she has appeared in many popular movies and TV programs.
