Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. In the month of November, 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up making the move in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop held in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. Anna has recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton.
